"He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."
Meet Me'Shel Bussey
Certified Postpartum Doula
Hello! My name is MeShel Bussey and I am a Christ-following wife and mother of seven who is dedicated to serving the mothers and families of the Wake Forest/RDU community. God has been with me through six births and the heavenly transition of one child. It was during these times that I realized that mothers were in dire need of more postpartum support and encouragement in the Lord. Thus, I was inspired to pursue my Postpartum Doula Certification that I may be able to better serve my sisters in Christ and in motherhood. I am also pursuing a Certificate in Women's Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Personally, I enjoy spending time with my husband of many years, Mr. Bussey and my sweet children. I love to write encouraging articles and posts for mothers at Brave.Bold.Motherhood. I also love to read, listen to music and eat really good food (especially sweets!).
My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:11 as I find such comfort in knowing that God is "gently leading" me through the sanctifying journey of being a Mama. Because of what the Lord has done for me, I am eager to serve and further the Kingdom of God by supporting families as they launch into the ministry of parenthood!
